The Hammers continued their recovery on the weekend with a 1-1 draw away at Burnley. They should have had all three points in the bag if taken the chances properly. But all the hard work went in vain when Cris Wood punished them with a late equalizer.

West Ham lost just one of their five matches since opening the season on a three match losing streak. The form at home is top notch as they defeated Huddersfield and Swansea with clean sheets, while losing to Tottenham in the 2-3 thriller.

Brighton are coming on the back of a 1-1 draw in a cagey affair against Everton last Sunday. Just like West Ham, they should have bagged the win, only for a late penalty to steal it from their finger tips.

For the Seagulls, positive results keep coming at home. But they are largely underwhelming in away games. They are yet to register an away win after four games with defeats in three. The lone draw during the period came against Watford, who played over an hour with 10 men. Also, they scored just once in process.
