Top two sides in the Group A are about to lock horns in the final showdown for the first place in the group and an easier opponent in the knockout stage of the competition.

Villarreal obviously head into this as pretty clear favourites, but Astana proved their quality with back-to-back wins over Israeli Maccabi Tel Aviv in previous two rounds to complicate things at the top of the group standings.

The Yellow Submarine did drop the ball when they only drew 2-2 at home with Slavia Prague in the third round, but they proved quality defeating the Czech outfit 0-2 on the road to claim the top of the group.

They head into this undefeated in four straight matches in all competitions even though they had trough back-to-back away outings with the likes of Atletico Madrid and Athletic Bilbao in La Liga during the process.

This will be the fourth time these two sides are about to tackle each other in Europa League.

The Spanish outfit has been more than dominant so far winning each of last three meetings by three goals difference.
