Juventus will be keen on recovering after a surprise 3-2 loss to Sampdoria as they take on Crotone on Sunday evening.

The Bianconeri come into this game having drawn Barcelona 0-0 in the Champions League. Whilst that result means that their long-standing unbeaten run at home in European competition remains intact (since April 2013), it also means that they won’t finish top of their group. And as Sporting Lisbon beat Olympiakos, it means that the Bianconeri now need to beat the Greek side to secure passage to the round of 16.

They now have to turn their attention back to domestic affairs and trying to play catch-up with Inter and Napoli, who are still unbeaten in Serie A this season. Crotone have lost four out of their last six away fixtures and it’s hard to imagine them managing to upset the odds against Juventus. That being said, the Squali may be able to nick a goal since Juve have conceded at home to the likes of SPAL and Benevento recently, and have in fact shipped goals in three straight fixtures at the Allianz Stadium.

Nonetheless, Crotone have conceded at least two goals per game in their last six in their travels which means that Juventus obviously will be fancying their chances going forward.

Juventus will definitely be going all out here as they will need all three points to keep up the pressure on Napoli and Inter. Anything less and they could find themselves in some trouble, especially as Roma and Lazio are nipping at their heels. However, considering they have conceded to SPAL and Benevento, Crotone could possibly nick a goal as well.
