Last weekend, Benevento suffered a 1-2 defeat against Juventus. So far, the team has lost the first 12 games this season and have not won any points.

That record equaled United's poor record 87 years ago. That was the 1930/31 season. At the time, the Reds had lost all their first 12 games.

To date, this is still the record for the worst start of the top five European leagues (England, Spain, Germany, Italy and France). If losing Sassuolo in the next round, Benevento will officially overtake MU to become the worst start-up club of all time.

Even so, the defense is too bad to continue to hurt the club. Benevento conceded 31 goals, the highest in the top five league games in Europe. In the opposite direction, the Benevento striker only scored 5 goals.
